 The only two fears that you are born with for survival, are fear of falling and fear of loud noises. You are not born with a phobia – it is a learnt response.

A phobia is a persistent, irrational fear of, and desire to avoid, a particular object or situation.

If it is learnt then it can be unlearnt!

You may recognise your fears to be unrealistic, but still feel unable to confront them, and that can be very frustrating.
If you have a phobia, chances are you experience a fear so intense and debilitating that it begins to affect the way you live your life.
