What is Hypnosis anyway?

It’s a naturally occurring state, like relaxation. You can say that daydreaming , some forms of meditation are different forms of this state.

What is Hypnotherapy?

It’s simply using this state of hypnosis for therapy. The state of hypnosis gives you a direct link to the subconscious mind where we can make beneficial changes.

How does it work?

It’s like you want to have a state of laughter and maybe you can go and see a comedian whose  good. Then the comedian can make you laugh (the state of laughter is yours, it’s not given to you, but the comedian invites it). If you don’t want to laugh then the comedian can do anything and everything, you’re not going to laugh. It’s the same here. I will invite into a state of hypnosis where we can do the work.

Can I have this state of Hypnosis?

That’s like asking can you have the state if relaxation – yes.  Some people are naturally very good at it, for others it’s a skill that can be easily learnt.

What does it feel like?

It’s great, it may be something very familiar or it might be the most relaxed experience that you’ve ever had.
